Compiled by Monty Olsen in 1997, one of our volunteers, this book contains an index of the 1885 Choctaw Census for Atoka County, Pushmataha District.  It lists the head of the household, all living there, ages, male or female, Indian or white, occupation, acres in cultivation, how many horses, mule’s, cattle, sheep, goats, and hogs. I also list if had any bales of cotton, bushels of corn, wheat or oats. 69 indexed pages.
