Compiled by Marion Traer, Downs, and Monty Olsen, two of our volunteers, this book contains the 1855 Choctaw Census of Choctaws Paid by Chickasaws Treaty of June 22, 1855. It lists the three Districts of the Choctaw Nation, and their counties. I showed how much the Chickasaws had to pay the Choctaws to be able to set up their own government after the treaty of 1855. In the end of that there are a list of orphans, starting on page 188, which were sent to Indian Territory, and how much the representatives were paid.  fully indexed 219 pgs.
