Powell Family History 15 generations

Description

This book was compiled by Marion Traer Downs whose mother was a Powell, granddaughter of Ambrose.   This is mostly about Ambrose P. Powell after he came to Indian Territory to establish a Post office at Yarnaby, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, in 1882 and all of his descendants that was raised in Indian Territory and Oklahoma. It does go back to early Virginia.
