While the primary focus of the Bryan County Genealogical Library & Archives is on the genealogy and history of Bryan County, Oklahoma, our collections contain historical and genealogical material relating to the history of Southeastern Oklahoma from the start of Indian Territory through statehood, and into the modern era. This information includes records and family histories relating to the Five Civilized Tribes with an emphasis on Choctaw and Chickasaw records. We also have archival records from Bryan County, Oklahoma.
Our volunteers continue to compile records and information to support research into the histories of the region and the lives of the people who were part of that history.
